Saturday, April 18, 2009 (UMST) - Bowl for Kids Sake 2009

Our premier fun-raising event where people like you get together with friends, family, and co-workers and have a fun time bowling in support of Big Brother Big Sister mentoring programs in your community. Please contact BBBS for more information.

BBBS is gearing up for another Bowl For Kids’ Sake.

The 2009 BFKS will be held Saturday, April 18th at Western Bowl. BFKS is our agency’s only fundraiser and accounts for over 40% of our annual budget. It is a fun-filled day of bowling, fellowship and community involvement.

Last year, we raised over $82,000 and had over 1,000 bowlers and volunteers participate in the event. Most importantly, we were able to help more than 210 children through our programs thanks in part to BFKS and the generous support of sponsors.  This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 with your help!

What is Bowl for Kids’ Sake?
Bowl for Kids' Sake is about having fun to help kids. It is our most important fundraising event. Funds raised go directly toward matching children in the Texas Panhandle area with carefully-screened, caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers.

You can be a sponsor, a bowler, or both!
If you are a donor, know that your support is helping put Big Brothers and Big Sisters in children's lives, right here in the Texas Panhandle area. If you are a bowler, enjoy a fun outing with friends — as well as the satisfaction of knowing you're making a big difference to kids right here.
